Born and raised in the vibrant community of Turlock, California, my journey into the world of music and media began with a guitar I received on my ninth birthday. This early gift sparked a lifelong passion that guided my career and personal growth. By thirteen, I was already performing with local bands, and my involvement in the music scene expanded from performing to promoting live events, producing records, and handling audio engineering. My studies at Modesto Junior College led me to an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, which provided a strong foundation for my future endeavors.

My career took a significant turn when I was asked to join the indie rock band Table for Five as their lead guitarist.

Although the band eventually went on hiatus and ended, this experience solidified my commitment to the music industry and led me to Long Beach, California, in February 2015. There, I continued my education at Long Beach City College and later transferred to California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a focus on media studies and a minor in marketing.

At CSUDH, I immersed myself in various roles within Associated Students Inc. (ASI), including Public Affairs Commissioner, College of Arts & Humanities Representative, and Director of Legislative Affairs where I played a crucial part as a student representative in the new buildings and additions the university sees now today. I also contributed to the development of the university's new mascot, Teddy the Toro, and supported new students as a New Student Orientation Leader. My time at CSUDH truly enriched my understanding of media and marketing in multiple capacities, laying the groundwork for my professional journey.

After graduating, I joined Newsflare, a UK-based video licensing company, as a social media video researcher and producer. In this role, I managed the creation and distribution of engaging content across social media platforms, enhancing the company's online presence.

In April 2023, I began working at NBC Palm Springs as a Producer, where I coordinated news segments, managed digital content, and contributed to web design and maintenance. My role expanded in January 2024, and I transitioned to Technical Director, overseeing camera and sound production for live broadcasts and field producing.

Additionally, I worked as a Podcast Producer and Editor developing podcast content focused on the foster care system, recording and editing audio and video to create compelling episodes that highlighted the experiences of youth in foster care.

Reflecting on my career, I am deeply grateful for the diverse experiences that have shaped my professional path. Each role, from performing in bands to producing news and podcasts, has contributed to my growth and passion for media and communication. I am excited to see where my journey takes me next and eager to continue leveraging my skills and experiences in new and impactful ways.
